C'est sur LANCIA qu'il débute sa carrière et c'est pourtant avec l’ OPEL ASCONAque ses talents seront reconnus. Depuis la retraite de MUNARI,
l'Italie toute entière attendait son champion.
Grace à Cesare FIORIO, il remporte quelques titres, à un moment où la concurrence commençait à . devenir plus rude.
Par la suite, au volant de FORD, il fut un peu dominé par ses équipiers....d'où sa retraite??
Son épreuve fétiche? le PORTUGAL: voir ci-dessus!!!
ANECDOTE: Sa bête noire? Jean RAGNOTTI. "mais qu'est ce qu'il me veut lui derrière? Moi, depuis le PORTUGAL, quand je vois une LANCIA devant......j'attaque!!!

On attend la relève Italienne…Peut-être avec le retour au sommet de LANCIA ?

He began his career with a LANCIA and yet it was with the OPEL ASCONA that his talents were recognized. Since MUNARI's retirement,

all of Italy was waiting for its champion.

Thanks to Cesare FIORIO, he won a few titles, at a time when the competition was starting to . become tougher.

Later, at the wheel of FORD, he was a little dominated by his teammates....hence his retirement??

His favorite event? PORTUGAL: see above!!!

ANECDOTE: His pet peeve? Jean RAGNOTTI. "but what does he want from me behind? Me, since PORTUGAL, when I see a LANCIA in front......I attack!!!

We are waiting for the Italian succession...Maybe with the return to the top of LANCIA?
